fill in St. Ingbert
24 Oktober 2026
Time and again, fill in – International Jazz Festival Saar can also be found outside the FESTIVAL in Saarland towns and communities or at special venues. As in 2024, fill in will also organise concerts in St. Ingbert in 2026. At the end of October, the festival will bring jazz to the Saarland town in the Sar-Pfalz district.
It was one of the concert highlights of 2024 in St. Ingbert and the greater region. None other than jazz legend Jan Garbarek came to the town hall with his band and percussionist Trilok Gurtu and played a concert in front of almost 900 enthusiastic people.
For the first time ever, a fill-in concert was sold out! We want to build on this success in 2026. fill in will once again be performing at the Stadthalle in St. Ingbert, presenting world-class contemporary jazz. This year Francesca Tandoi will come to St. Ingbert with her trio formation.

Swinging Piano Jazz
Critics are already hailing the Italian jazz pianist and singer Francesca Tandoi as a star of the international jazz scene. Her fast-paced yet elegant playing is reminiscent of her great role model, the pianist Oscar Peterson. The Italian’s swinging, melodious sound is repeatedly driven by energetic piano passages, with her fingers seeming to fly across the instrument’s keyboard. In some tracks, Tandoi’s warm voice also accompanies her elegant arrangements.
Tandoi was born in Rome in 1984. In 2009, she moved to the Netherlands, where she studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and the Rotterdam Conservatoire. In just a few years, she has established a reputation as a world-class pianist and singer. She has shared the stage with some of the most famous jazz musicians, including Scott Hamilton, with whom she has recorded several albums. She has also performed in a duo with Darius Brubeck and Stefano Bollani. She has now released seven albums.
