fill in — International Jazz Festival Saar is the jazz festival in the Saar-Lor-Lux region.fill in brings legends and world stars of jazz as well as up-and-coming talents of the genre to the Saar-Lor-Lux region. Over three days at the end of June, the festival presents all facets of the genre at the E-Werk on the Saarterrassen in Saarbrücken and celebrates jazz.
Venues 2026
Avenue
fill in AVENUE is a colourful street festival. On 8 May 2026, we will be celebrating jazz together with GIU in the alleyway in front of the old bus depot in the Eurobahnhof district of Saarbrücken, bringing it back to the streets.
Bars & Clubs
The festival kicks off on 25 June 2026 with a glittering celebration at St. Johanner Markt. For one evening, young jazz musicians will transform St. Johanner Markt in Saarbrücken into a jazz club.
Festival
From 26 to 28 June 2026, the E-Werk on the Saarterrassen in Saarbrücken will become the epicentre of the European jazz scene. Legends, world stars and hip newcomers to jazz will be guests.
Bostalsee
fill in is hosting an open-air event at Lake Bostal on 31 July and 1 August. We will be enjoying two days of summer, sun, lake and jazz on the lawn of the Gonnesweiler lido.
Berlin
As in 2024 and 2025 fill will be part of the programme of the Saarland State Representation to the Federal Government at ‘Jazz in den Ministergärten’ in October 2026.
St. Ingbert
At the end of October 2026 fill in will be returning to the Stadthalle in St. Ingbert for the second time since 2024. The festival will once again present the finest jazz in the city.
