fill in – International Jazz Festival Saar brings world-class jazz to the greater SaarLorLux region. In addition to the main festival program in the German-French Garden, there are several special events.
The kick-off will be fill in AVENUE on April 24, 2024 with a street party in the Quartier am Eurobahnhof in Saarbrücken.
On June 27, 2024, numerous concerts will take place in pubs and bars around the St. Johanner Markt in Saarbrücken. The main program runs from Friday, June 28, to Sunday, June 30, 2024, in the German-French Garden.
From Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11, 2024, fill in will be a guest on the Vauban Island in Saarlouis and invites you to a jazz walk.
On Friday, October 18, 2024, the festival will be a guest at “Jazz in the Ministerial Gardens”
in Berlin and will be responsible for the program of the Saarland state representation there.
The last concert will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the Stadthalle in St. Ingbert.

Tickets for the main program (28 to 30 June 2024) are valid for the entire evening. Individual tickets for just one concert are not available in the main program in the German-French Garden.

As soon as you successfully purchase a ticket in the fill in ticket store, you will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided. The fill-in ticket will be sent as a PDF attachment to this booking confirmation and must be exchanged for a festival wristband at the ticket desk at the festival.

There are no seat reservations and it is not possible to reserve specific seats in advance, without exception. The seats can be chosen freely.
Yes. Depending on availability, tickets can also be purchased at the box office. A box office surcharge of 5€ is then payable.
Admission is completely free up to the age of 18. A free ticket must still be reserved.
Persons in possession of a severely disabled pass with the B mark are entitled to take an accompanying person to the festival free of charge. To register the accompanying person, please send an e-mail with a copy of the ID and the festival ticket to the following e-mail address:

Children and young people up to the age of 18 are generally admitted free of charge. A ticket must still be reserved online for each evening.
Parents may bring their children from infancy (0 years) onto the festival site, provided they wear suitable hearing protection.
The concerts and events also take place in bad weather. If there is a high probability of rain, please bring weatherproof clothing.
In the event of very bad weather, the festival will move to the E-Werk on the Saarterrassen (Dr.-Tietz-Straße, Saarbrücken). We will announce a postponement in good time via the media, on this website and via our social media channels.

Dogs may enter the festival grounds on a leash if they are used to concerts and do not bark. It is not possible to take the tickets to the bad weather alternative E-Werk and the Stadthalle St. Ingbert.
